Salehe Bembury studied industrial design at Syracuse and worked his way through Payless, Cole Haan and Yeezy before leading sneakers at Versace, where he designed the Chain Reaction. His fingerprint became his signature, pressed into his first New Balance collaboration, the 2002R "Peace Be the Journey", in 2020 and moulded across the Crocs Pollex Clog in 2021 and the Pollex Slide in 2023.
