Polar Skate Co.

Pontus Alv founded Polar Skate Co. in Malmö, Sweden, in 2011, after films like In Search of the Miraculous (2010) showed him and his friends building their own spots from stone, concrete and plywood across southern Sweden and helped start Malmö's DIY scene. Polar runs on the same hands-on spirit: graphics drawn by Alv and guest artists such as Jacob Ovgren, a round stroke logo, and roomy denim, starting with the Big Boy jean, cut when slim chinos ruled skating.
